About Sabrina

The MIDLIFE FOOD GURU

Sabrina provides food inspiration for midlife, menopause and beyond. Sabrina was born in Trinidad, a Caribbean island whose culture has food at its heart. Food and nutrition became an essential part of her life from a young age and continues to be her biggest passion.

Sabrina openly admits that menopause hit her like the proverbial ‘ton of bricks’ and having experienced a lack of knowledge and support Sabrina set out to educate herself in food, nutrition and lifestyle with a primary focus on alleviating some of the negative effects of menopause.

As a women’s health advocate Sabrina now helps women embrace change and guide them on how best to use good nutrition to support a positive midlife and menopause. Her ultimate passion is bringing fun and connection back to food and women’s health. Her approach is simple – celebrate and savour!
“I am overwhelmed with the amount of misinformation about women’s nutrition, menopause, health and fitness. I do my best to dispel as much as I can with smart nutrition and lifestyle advice. I have learnt from my own experience that armed with enough knowledge, taking control of your health does not have to a mine field, expensive or time consuming.”

Experience & Expertise

Sabrina has worked in the health and food industry for 25 years starting in the pharmaceutical industry. Her work took her from Trinidad to the US, Switzerland and the UK giving her the opportunity to experience many different cultures and cuisines.

Menopause and redundancy eventually led Sabrina to follow her passion for food and become an accomplished chef offering bespoke Cajun Caribbean Culinary experiences and she was a regular TV Chef on Simply Good Food.

As the Food expert for Live Better with Menopause Sabrina provided nutritional advice and she was also the Nutrition Expert with a Menopause Retreat company, hiring and training the team and developing content for the nutrition sessions.

Sabrina is an Ambassador for The Real Food Campaign and regularly delivers talks about health and well-being with a special interest in menopause.
